Sumir Chadha Sumir has over 14 years of venture capital and private equity investing experience in India and Asia. Sumir is currently a board member of SKS Microfinance, GlobalLogic, Star Health Insurance, Quick Heal Technologies and India Shelter Finance Corporation Ltd, and has previously served on many boards including Applabs, MarketRx, Pangea3 and Shaadi. Sumir was also a co-founder and Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India. Prior to that, Sumir was part of the Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs & Co, based in New York and Singapore, where he focused on venture capital investments in services and software companies in both the United States and India. He began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., based in New York and New Delhi, where he specialized in the Internet and wireless industries. Sumir is the first elected Chairman of the Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (IVCA), the dominant association in the industry with over 100 members. Sumir has an MBA (with Distinction) from Harvard University and a BSE degree in Computer Science from Princeton University. |

KP Balaraj KP Balaraj has over 14 years of venture capital and private equity investing experience in India and Asia. A current member on the boards of Vasan Healthcare, Coffee Day, FirstSource, K12 Education and Indecomm, KP has previously served on the boards of Manappuram Finance, Tutorvista, and Manipal K12. KP was also a co-founder and Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India. Earlier, he was part of Goldman Sachs where he served as a member of Goldman-backed funds and operating companies that focused on private equity in Asia. KP has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Hawaii, from where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. He is a former top-ranked national tennis player and has represented India at the international level in the sport. |

SK Jain SK Jain has over 10 years of venture capital and private equity investing experience in India. He is currently a board member at Comviva Technologies (formerly known as Bharti Telesoft) and July Systems, and has previously served on the boards of Paras Pharma, Sai Advantium and Brainvisa. SK has also led investments in Idea Cellular and Havells. SK was also a co-founder and Managing Director at Sequoia Capital India. Prior to that, he served as the CEO of MeraNet, a college networking site that he co-founded while in business school. His work experience also includes stints in the Pentium Pro Design Group at Intel and the Semiconductor Product Group at Motorola.SK received an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad where he was awarded the President's Gold Medal for academic excellence. He also holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi as well as an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. |

Sandeep Singhal Sandeep Singhal has over 10 years of venture capital and private equity investing experience in India. He is currently a board member at JustDial, Dr. Lal Pathlabs, Celon Labs, Eclerx, Stovekraft, GVK Bio Sciences, Carzonrent, Applabs, What's on India Media and Nazara Technologies, and was previously on the board of MarketRx. Sandeep was also a co-founder and Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India. Earlier, he worked at BCG where he advised several mid-market Indian companies on their product and marketing strategies. Prior to BCG, Sandeep worked with Hindustan Lever Limited where he was instrumental in eleven product launches targeting Indian consumer segments that have contributed significantly to the company's business. Sandeep has an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, an MS in molecular simulation from the University of Illinois, and a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi. |

K Ramanathan Ram has vast experience in the areas of fund accounting, reporting, and compliance with Indian and Mauritius laws relating to foreign investments. Prior to WestBridge Advisors Private Limited, Ram was with Sequoia Capital India for more than seven years where he was the company secretary and General Manager in charge of Finance. Ram's resume also includes a stint within the Finance department of ICICI Venture. Ram is a Commerce graduate from the University of Madras and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI). He is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. |
